F/26/unsure. I've always zero inclination toward sex, and an aversion to sex depicted in any form (including porn) in the media. Lately, I've been wondering if I might be averse to sex altogether--in other words, if I'm asexual. Do you think that my feelings alone are sufficient to come to this conclusion, or do you think it's necessary to have at least at least a few sexual encounters in order to be sure that I really don't care for it? Hopefully the answer isn't too obvious. Thanks!

23/F/Straight Some days I really want to punch my bf's ex in the face, Last night while he was asleep he said her name twice. I know they fooled around(they were 17/18 I think at the time), got a little past second base and big whoop, We fuck like rabbits on a weekly basis. I have all this rage towards her because she came first and I seriously just want to deck her once, just to get over it and feel better.

Try to find some more constructive ways to deal with your feelings. Maybe write a letter to her (but not send it). Maybe just being able to release the emotions could help … our release your anger on a punching bag.

32/M/Gay My ex boyfriend messed me up so bad i've convinced myself that i'm not allowed to be happy. It always seems that when i'm happy about something like my relationship with my new boyfriend or work, something bad happens so I started believing it. I know I need help but I don't think it will help at all.

You can’t assume “help won’t help” - it’s best to at least try. Healing can take time and therapy can help.

22/f- I've been an outspoken Atheist for almost 10 years, but I never tell anyone about all of the music I really enjoy. Why? Because I love bluegrass, and upon hearing that a lot of people assume it's because I enjoy the Christian themes that lend to SOME of the genre. Actually, no. I enjoy the heartfelt and passionate way in which it's played, and while I love some of the subject matter it's not what pulls me in. I don’t think people would find this strange - I really enjoy Christmas carols, even though most are about Bethlehem and Christ-the-King, but obviously, I don’t believe in the jerk.

It’s a sweet dream, I’m just concerned that following those baby-boomers is a bunch of their kids (our parents/slightly older) who still hold onto their traditional beliefs.

13/F. I hate my age because I have a lot to say, but people turn me down due to my age. I want to be heard. I hate that I'm judged due to my age. I understand why they think that, as many of the people I know my age are pretty fucking stupid. But I'm not like any of them. They just assume I am because of how old I am.

Unfortunately, that isn’t something I see changing any time soon - children (tweens, whatever) aren’t treated with the respect they deserve.
